La derni\u00e8re grande th\u00e9orie, pr\u00e9diction, \u00e9tait la fin du monde en d\u00e9cembre 2012… On ne fait que relater sa fin proche sans prendre en compte sa capacit\u00e9 d’adaptation et de r\u00e9activit\u00e9. Facebook est le r\u00e9seau social qui a su le mieux s’adapter aux \u00e9volutions du web, en proposant continuellement de nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s. Pensez-vous vraiment que Marc Zukenbrg va rester assis passivement dans son fauteuil jusqu’\u00e0 ce que son empire s’effondre\u00a0? Ne soyons pas aussi cat\u00e9goriques, Facebook a su toujours rebondir depuis pr\u00e8s de 10 ans.<\/p>\n
Apr\u00e8s avoir, je l’esp\u00e8re, attis\u00e9 votre curiosit\u00e9, je vous propose un regard neuf et critique sur la situation actuelle de Facebook. Attaquons nous en premier lieu au contexte social\u00a0; voici un graphique qui repr\u00e9sente bien les tendances actuelles du r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n

A contrario, les 25-34 et 35-54 augmentent consid\u00e9rablement. La cat\u00e9gorie des plus de 55 ans connait une croissance en fl\u00e8che puisqu’elle a augment\u00e9 de 80 %. Comment expliquer cette tendance\u00a0? Nous en avions parl\u00e9 dans notre article pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0 la chute de l’empire Facebook?<\/a>\u00bb, cette migration des jeunes vers d’autres r\u00e9seaux est due \u00e0 une augmentation croissante des parents, donc des 25 ans et + sur le g\u00e9ant du r\u00e9seau. Une tendance qui se refl\u00e8te \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s partout dans le monde. \u00c0\u00a0la vue de ces chiffres, qui montrent finalement une croissance d’utilisateurs, peut-on encore vraiment parler de d\u00e9clin\u00a0? Cependant il est vrai que l’utilisation faite du r\u00e9seau diff\u00e8re selon les cat\u00e9gories. Les adolescents et jeunes adultes utilisent ce r\u00e9seau plus intens\u00e9ment en y consacrant plus de temps que quiconque. Mais \u00e0 cela, les cat\u00e9gories plus \u00e2g\u00e9es sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus fid\u00e8les aux habitudes et pratiques d\u2019utilisation d’un outil. Je pense que la cons\u00e9quence du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de migration des jeunes est exag\u00e9r\u00e9e. Certes, le r\u00e9seau social va s\u00fbrement avoir du mal face aux exigences de ce nouveau public mais Facebook est d\u00e9j\u00e0 en train de bouger ses pi\u00e8ces sur l\u2019\u00e9chiquier.<\/p>\n
